Kylei's “Worth the Fight” Wrestling Singlet

Some singlets are more than just gear. They tell a story.

Designed by Kylei, a junior at Shawnee High School in Oklahoma, this singlet represents resilience, courage, and finding the strength to keep going, even when walking away feels easier.

Kylei is a two-time OSSAA State Qualifier who placed 4th at the OSSAA State Tournament. She has represented Team Oklahoma at Women's Nationals and finished in the top 16 in freestyle at the Marine Corps Junior Nationals in Fargo.

But some of her toughest battles happened off the mat.

After a difficult season filled with challenges involving her family and wrestling program, Kylei made the decision to start over at a new school. Leaving behind everything familiar wasn't easy, but it gave her the opportunity to rediscover her love for wrestling.

That's where the lighthouse design comes in.

A lighthouse doesn't stop the storm. It stands through it, no matter how strong the wind or waves become, and continues shining for those trying to find their way.

For Kylei, that lighthouse represents every girl who has ever felt unheard, stood up for what she believed in, questioned whether she should continue, or found the courage to start again.

The words “Worth the Fight” are a reminder that strength isn't always measured by wins, medals, or podium finishes. Sometimes, strength is simply refusing to give up on something you love.

Kylei hopes this singlet reminds every girl who wears it that whatever storm she's facing, she has the strength to stand through it.
